Recording on 16 Inch acetate disc of a performance by the Apollo Quartet of Louisville, Kentucky, on the WHAS radio program Deep River Echoes on December 23, 1940. Carl Barber - first tenor, Douglas Reid - second tenor, A_____ Bannon - baritone, C.L. Thomas, bass, with Aileen Martin, piano. C.L. Thomas was a prominent dentist and civic leader, a member of both the Fisk Jubilee Singers and the Jordanaires, and was a trustee of Lincoln Institute.
