Here Am I

The Heavenly Five of Anderson, Indiana, formed in 1952. “Jesus Sits High and Looks Down Low” is from their first album, Here Am I, which they recorded at Joe Thomas’ BJ Sounds Studio and released on his Sensational Sounds label in 1970, and which was re-issued by Randy’s Spiritual. It features James Warner on lead, along with Monroe Warner, Booker Alexander, Charlie Garnder, David Tolbert, Willie Alexander, and Richard Alexander. Over the next thirteen years, The Heavenly Five released three more albums on Randy’s Spiritual. The Heavenly Five disbanded in 2002.
