Jesus Is All I Need to Get By / All Things Work Together for Good

While they only recorded one 45 for Grace in 1971, The Gospel Descendents (sic.) were one of the most successful Louisville / Southern Indiana gospel groups of their time. Founded in 1964 by pianist Floyd Adams and director Ronald Ford, the interdenominational group became widely recognized for their powerhouse sound. Anywhere from twenty to seventy singers might sing for The Descendents at a given performance. The group was the first gospel act featured at the Louisville Defender Home Show in 1967.
